He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha Roedder; his children, Rebecca Higgs (Tony), Dolly Watson (Roger), Julie Brown (Kerry), Bunny Phelps, Angela "Bambi" Roedder and Michael "Duke" Roedder; and his siblings, Richard Roedder (Shirley), John Roedder (Sherry) and Faith Ann Olliges (Gerry).
