He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Cleary and Dolloretta Cleary; his siblings, Jack Cleary (Julie) and Maureen H. Birnstein; his nieces, Julie Maureen Birnstein, Emily Alice Birnstein and Mary Kate Cleary; and his nephew Brian J. Cleary.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
