He is survived by : his wife Terese Kay Tarpein of Baring, MO; his children, Rachel Hanquist (Brandon) of Hurdland, MO and Ashley Tarpein; his pet Jacob; his grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie Hanquist; his siblings, Jeannie Houghton (Charlie) of Edina, MO, Dan Tarpein (Peggy) of St. Joseph, MO, Judy Roberts (Jim) of Great Lakes, IL, Lynn Jones (Kevin) of Woodland, MO, David Tarpein (Kristy) of Wyaconda, MO, Eric Tarpein (Shannon) of Perry, MO and Brian Tarpein (Heather) of Kirksville, MO; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Williams of Monticello, MO. He is also survived by numerous other brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
