He was predeceased by : his parents, William Felton Boone Jr. and Bessie Adeline Kemper Boone; his wife Martha Boone; and his siblings, Bob Boone, Dale Boone, Camille Chronister and Earline Grizzard.

He is survived by : his children, Gwen Boone of Belton, Jean Mohrman (Lou) of Hillsboro, Missouri and Kenneth Boone (Barb) of Urich, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Sarah, Joshua, Aaron, Gretchen, Melissa, Dale and Nicole. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
