He was predeceased by : his sisters, Adele Abrams (late Jack) and Leona Elkins (late Frank); and his brother-in-law Michael Starr (Gloria). He is survived by : his wife Joan Starr Sherman; his children, Sherri Waxman, Marla Shapiro (David), Gary Sherman (Randi), Grampy (Felise) of Doug, Lindsay (Adam), Josh (Kristen) and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Eviana, Howie, Nolan and Austin.
