He was predeceased by : his son Mark Milne; and his brother Butch Milne (Sharon). He is survived by : his wife Linda Milne (Coy); his sons, Brian Milne (Tracy) and Timothy Milne (Karrie); his daughter-in-law Greta Milne; his sister Anna Owens (John); his stepson Bryan Humphrey (Jennifer); and his sister-in-law Theresa Coy Pelech. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to American Cancer Society or Shriners Hospital for Children.
