She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Forest and Essie Harrell (Berry); her spouse Hurbert Ray; her son Bobby Lee Thomason; and her granddaughter Melanie Hood.

She is survived by: her son Ronald I. Thomason of Bevier, MO; and her siblings, Forest Harrell of Kansas City, MO and Blanch Applegate of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
