He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen "Mutt" Ketcherside and Bernice Iva Drennon (Hughes); his former wife Virginia Ketcherside (Henderson); his son David Gene Ketcherside; and his siblings, Lloyd, Freddie Ketcherside, Vivian Crocker, Joyce Goforth, Donna Pratt, Betty Conway, Terry Crocker, Richard Swonger, Peggy Jolly, Mary Lou Eckhoff and Judy Drennon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ketcherside (Smith); his children, Michael Eichenberger, Dink Ketcherside, Derrick Ketcherside, Vivian Ketcherside and Missy Ketcherside; and his sisters, Becky Forshee (Wayne) and Barbara Lawson (Jerry Bob). He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. David was the foundation of his family.
