As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though David may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his parents, Joe McClean and Pam McClean; his brother Michael McClean (Angie); his nephew Roman of Kansas City, MO; his sister Caroline McClean (Ted Thompson); and his nieces and nephews, Odette and Clio of Brooklyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (7207 MO-9, Kansas City, MO 64152). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Melpine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been set up for donations to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
