With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Blevins (Bolivar, Missouri), born in Ozark, Missouri, who passed away on February 12, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Blevins and Louise Smith Blevins; and his siblings, Gary, Judy and Anna.
He is survived by: his wife Leta A. Pape; his children, James Anthony Blevins (Cherise) of Lee's Summit, Dennis Blevins (Julie) of Pueblo, Colorado, Daniel Blevins (Shari) of Pueblo, Colorado and Dorothy Carroll (Bill) of Pueblo, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Justin and Jaime. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and left at the funeral home.
