It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie Marie Morris (Bonne Terre, Missouri), who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dan Pettus and Lela Pettus (Pratte); her husband Donald Morris; her son-in-law Jim Wallen; and her siblings, Bearl, Booke, Baggy, Ferrell, Dallam Pettus, Thelma Yarbrough, Faye Green, Fern Whitmire and Glenda Byington.
She is survived by : her children, Linda Wallen and Gary Morris; her daughter-in-law Sally Morris; her son Steve Morris; her daughter-in-law Lisa Morris; her grandchildren, Meghan Elet (John), Meredith Watson (Kevin), Jennifer McDaniel (Greg), Nick Wallen, Michelle Wallen, Annie Morris, Emily Howard (Josh), Katie Morris and Sean Morris (Kelsie); her great grandchildren, Jackson Elet, Jillian Elet, Owen McDaniel, Evan McDaniel, Isaac Madden, Josephine Gibson, Jameson Howard and Mallory Morris; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Pettus, Nancy Pettus and Grace Pettus. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
