He was predeceased by: his parents, August Jaegers and Bernadine Jaegers (Maassen); his wife Nancy Scheppers; his son Michael Jaegers; his brother Harry Jaegers; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Helen Scheppers; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Wieberg, Gil Massman, Janet Jaegers and Agnes Wieberg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Beadenkopf (Cody) of Moravian Falls, NC and Melanie Wolfe of Linn; his grandchildren, Adam, Curtis, Lauren, Sydney, Lily Strope, Lane (Brittny), Lori, Cody Wolfe, Zoey, Annabell Jaegers, Chip, Joshua and Nevaeh Beadenkopf; his great grandchildren, Nora, Ryker and Spencer Wolfe; his sister Alvina Jaegers Mathews (Charlie) of Linn; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Scheppers (Paula) of Linn, Tom Scheppers (Diane) of Wardsville, Bob Scheppers (Julie) of Wardsville, Ginny Massman of Linn, Marian Forck (Bernie) of Chamois, Sharon Vieth (Dave) of Taos, Franny Schell (Butch) of Wardsville and Carol Backes (Tom) of St. Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
