He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Murphy and Catherine Murphy (Kirstek); and his wife Jackie. He is survived by : his son Greg Murphy of Bourbon, MO; and his grandson Tyler Murphy (Emma) of Rolla, MO. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Francis Catholic Church of Bourbon.
