He is survived by : his wife Violet Sanders Mers; his children, Kathy Lynn Parrett (Michael) and William Keith Mers; his granddaughters, Susan Christine Halverson (Tim) and Elizabeth Ann McFerron (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Peyton Williamson, Trenton McFerron, Gracelynn McFerron and Wyatt Halverson; and his sister Marjorie Lynch (Melvin).
