He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hemmer and Lavern Swadley; his grandmother Goldie Smith; his uncles, Bert, Garland Smith and Raymond Swadley; and his aunt Sue Swadley.
He is survived by: his sisters, Jackie Hodges (Jerry) of Bradleyville and Linda Derr (David) of Bradleyville; his siblings' children, Daniel Gillespie, Jerry Gillespie (Marie), William Beasley (Taryn) and Brandy Beasley; and his aunts, Beverly Smith of Bradleyville and Teddie Coulter (Chuck) of Brighton, MO.
