He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Camarena and Elizabeth Camarena (Robinson); his siblings, Gary Camarena, Tommy Camarena (Jean) and Maria Celia "Sally" Huff; his nephew Michael Camarena; and his son-in-law Carey Ray Fugate.
He is survived by: his wife Gerd Helen Camarena; his children, Billy Camarena (Donna) of Crescent City, California, Kurt Camarena (Crystabelle Gumahad) of Crescent City, California and Laurie Ann Fugate of Branson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Cruze Camarena, Monique Camarena, Rachel Camarena and Taylor Rae Fugate; his great grandchildren, Asher David Moore and Holly Wood; and his siblings, Jose Camarena (Dorothy), Julian Camarena Jr. (Carol) of Crescent City, California, Alicia Frazier of Crescent City, California, Robert Camarena (Ronda) of Crescent City, California and Arturo Camarena (Julie) of Lovell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
