She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carter and Mary Carter (VanSlyke); her former husband George Crotchett; and her siblings, Donald Lee Carter, Robert Carter, Eloise Healy and Rosa Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Denise Crotchett of Columbia, Missouri and Robin Lin Crotchett (Theresa) of Urbana, Missouri; her stepdaughter Joy Wynn of Overland Park, Kansas; and her siblings, Doris June O'Neal of Belton, Missouri, Dan Carter (Linda) of Florida and Karen Simmons (Allen) of Belton, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
