He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elbert Hicks and Ila Hicks (Pease); his wife Lorene Hicks; his daughters, Jackie Whipple (Brett) of Galesburg, Illinois and Judy Keith of Branson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Devin Daggett (Eric) of Illinois, Amy Hodges (Dustin) of Illinois and John Keith (Jamilah) of North Dakota; and his sister Sheila Anderson (Richard "Dick") of Hemet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dale's name may be made to the Humane Society or to Oxford Hospice.
