He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Read (Bailey); his children, Lawrence Read of Holden, Maria Smith of Holden, Katy Clemens (Kevin) of Weston and Ben Read (Shawna) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Amanda Read, April Protas (John), Jameson Read, Maggie Pore (John), Rose Smith, Matthew Clemens, Aurora Read, Evelina Read, Sophia Read, Earl Read, Harvey Read, Paul Read, Jules Read, Ozzy Read and Varinia Read; his great grandchildren, Andrew Protas, Alexander Protas, Aria Protas, Alanna Franklin, Eli Read, Charlotte Pore and Francis Pore; and his siblings, Virginia Riley of Blue Springs, Veryla Kendall (Ira) of Mississippi and Howard Read (Ginger) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
