He was predeceased by : his parents, John Jr. Cavanaugh and Eileen Cavanaugh (Meiners); his wife Myra; and his son Jeffery. He is survived by : his children, Robert T. Cavanaugh, Jr., Michael "Andy" Cavanaugh, Robin "Nici" Hulett (Zach), Beth Wilson, Cara Sharp and Ricky Austin; and his siblings, Mike Cavanaugh (Barb), Johnny, Jr., Dennis Cavanaugh and Kathy Chiles.
