Larry James Nicholson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry James Nicholson of Buffalo, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Nicholson and Frances Nicholson (Douglass); and his sisters, Wilma Nicholson and Linda Buffington. He is survived by: his wife Pat Nicholson; his children, Tammy Atteberry of Buffalo, MO and Terry (Karen Nicholson); his grandchildren, Tessa and Matt Wommack (Twins) of Buffalo, MO; his great grandchildren, Madelynn, Bella, Clayton Wommack, Emma, Evelynn Atteberry, Dennis Atteberry and Trevor Nicholson; and his pet Bonnie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home - Buffalo (931 W Main St, Buffalo, MO 65622). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christian Church (502 Maple St, Buffalo, MO 65622).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Charity Christian Church, the Charity Christian Church Cemetery, or the Ronald McDonald House.
