She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lee Burns and Martha Frances Burns (Steele); her husband James Gordon Mills; and her brothers, William "Bill" Burns, Charles Burns and Robert "Bob" Burns.
She is survived by: her children, James Kenneth Mills (Diane), Michael Lynn Mills (Kim) and Shirley Kaye Mertz (Rick); her grandchildren, Jolene Soorus (John), Jeremy Mertz, Tonya Keller (Tony), Kendra Mills, Cameron Mills and Mia Mills; her great grandchildren, Gunner Barker, Cameron Mertz, Brylee Keller and Mason Keller; her stepgreat-grandsons, Austin, Dustin and Brandon Soorus; and her sister Patricia "Pat" Kelley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
