He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W Hawkins and Mary V Hawkins (Stockdall); and his siblings, Randie L Hawkins and Karen J Carter. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Lynetta Crooks (Ryan) of Clinton and Roberta Cox (Shawn) of Independence; his grandchildren, Jacob Bellomy (Taylor Atkinson) of Buffalo, Dalton Cox (Emily Dunshee), Blake Cox and Melanie Cox; his great grandchildren, Presley Cox of Independence and Fredrick Bellomy of Buffalo; his siblings, Carol Sell (Gary) of Calhoun, Ross Hawkins (Tammy) of Clinton and Ray Hawkins (Beverly) of Windsor; and his uncle Clayton Stockdall of Texas.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Freedom of Road Riders and can be left in care of the funeral home.
