Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anita Louise (Griggs) Armstrong of California, Missouri, born in Duncan, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 83, on February 12, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Griggs and Louise Griggs; her stepfather Carroll Johnston; her husband Tom Armstrong; and her son Kevin.

She is survived by: her brother Allan Griggs; her sons, Gary and David; her daughters-in-law, Linda and Krista; and her grandchildren, Michael, Katherine, Paul and Clare. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

“I taught with Dr. Anita Armstrong at DBU. I continue to teach science, I had many lunches with Anita during the years and with her cross the hall colleague Dr. Marsha Pool who also taught math. The students loved Dr. Armstrong. She had a terrific way of teaching math to students. All of the family will continue to be in my prayers. Dr. Armstrong has arrived at her Mansion, Just Over the Hilltop, Dr. Andrew LaFavers; Science, DBU (214) 333-5243”
