He is survived by : his father Howard Simpson; his close friend Peggy Ohlund; his daughters, Rachel Simpson of Kansas City, Missouri, Melissa Severson of Kansas City, Missouri and Jennifer Simpson of Kansas City, Missouri; and his siblings, Christine Britten (Denny), Catherine White (Dan), Kathy Arnold (Bob Shields), Delores Rountree (Steve) of Elkland, MO and Bruce Simpson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
