She was predeceased by : her parents, William Henry and Cora Estella Montgomery Carpenter; her husband Phillip Harold Dalton; her son Harold Franklin Dalton; and her siblings, Thelma Eagan, Velma Smith, Olin Carpenter, Everett Carpenter and Euell Carpenter.

She is survived by : her daughters, Phyllis Gregory (Dale) of DeSoto, Linda Tate (Terry) of Campbell, Kathy Pitts of Campbell and Brenda Philpot (Jessie) of Campbell; her daughter-in-law Mary Dalton of Holcomb; and her son Gerald Dalton (Donna) of Campbell. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
