She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Keim Smirl (Ruping) of Atlanta, Timothy Roberts Smirl (Cheryl) of Apex and John August Smirl of Edwards, Colorado; her grandchildren, Jessica Smirl of St. Augustine, Joseph Smirl (Coleen) of St. Louis, Justin Leguillow of Raleigh, Henry August Smirl of Fort Collins, Ivy Kathryn Smirl of Santa Barbara and George William Smirl of Edwards; and her sister Sue K. Balsamo of Cape Girardeau.
