He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Halter and Clara Meyer Halter; his siblings, Joseph Halter, Patronilla Lappe and Marcella Kirn; and his grandson Eric Wingerter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Brown of Cape Girardeau, MO, Clarissa Wingerter (Brian) of Perryville, MO and Anna Halter of Cape Girardeau, MO; his siblings, Hubert Halter of Perryville, MO, Flavian Halter (Barbara) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Mary Schwepker-Klipfel (Junior) of Benton, MO; his grandchildren, Joseph Swan, Alex Swan (Ashley), Brent Halter and Mykeal Medley; and his great grandchild Lakely Swan.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
