She was predeceased by : her parents, Payton Miller and Hazel Kurre Miller; her husband Harold Smith; her stepgranddaughter Jennifer Boyce; her brother-in-law Dean Hulsey; and her nephew David Hulsey.
She is survived by : her daughters, Dixie Boyce (Don) of Ballwin, Debbie Deneke (James) of Gordonville and Deanna Carter (John) of Piedmont; her siblings, June Hulsey of Ironton and Pete Miller (Judy) of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Julie Matthews (Michael) of Gordonville, Jason Carter of Piedmont and Jonathan Deneke of Ames, IA; her great grandchildren, Macie, Melanie and Mollie Matthews; her nieces, Judi Crites Stalter of Sedgewickville, Carol Davis of Canton, IL, Melissa Hulsey Boren of Farmington and Mary Hulsey of Hot Springs, AR; and her nephew Matthew Hulsey of Hot Springs, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Meadow Heights school district or the Oak Ridge Schools Foundation.
