It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob L. Matthews (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), born in Bloomfield, Missouri, who passed away on December 22, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joness Newton and Freda Pauline Matthews; and his brother Joe Grant Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Alene of Cape Girardeau; his children, Judith Ann Gallagher (John) of Fort Worth, TX and Robert L. Matthews (Diane Tjomsland) of Bow, WA; his grandchildren, Catherine Ann Carter (Paul) and John Delaney Gallagher (Leslie); and his brothers, Jack Matthews (Pauline) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Bill Matthews of Cape Girardeau.
The family requests that any donations be made to Southeast Hospice in his name or to a charity of their choice.
