Carolyn Horecker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Horecker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Horecker; her children, Teresa Watkins and Charles Horecker; her parents, Stanley E. Harris Jr. and Jane Harris; and her sister Barbara Zinn.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Shirrell (Eric); her grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Rachel, Gabe and Joseph Horecker (Mercedes Lang) of Cape Girardeau, MO; her son David Horecker of Anna, IL; her siblings, David and Janet; and also Ed.
Because of Covid there will be no visitation.
Memorials may be directed to Green Earth, the American Cancer Society or to Holy Land Tree or other charity to plant a tree in Israel.
