He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; and his sisters, Virginia Harris and Jean Olive Kimble. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Sabella of Cape Girardeau and Doug Turner (Tina) of Cape Girardeau; his sister Judy Hanebrink of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Chris Taylor (Kelly), Sara Taylor-Umfleet (Chance), Alexandra Abernathy (John) and Zachary Turner; his stepgrandchildren, John and Megan Baker; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Ashlyn Taylor, Grace and Sam Abernathy; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Shelby Starzinger, Travell Stele, Arieanna Brown and Zariayah Hollis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran School.
