He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lemie Gibbar and Gertrude McLain; and his wife Judith Ann Gibbar. He is survived by: his siblings, Dolores Gibbar of Cape Girardeau, MO and Kenny Gibbar of Jackson, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Catholic Social Ministries Food Pantry.
