It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Starkey (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), born in Marquand, Missouri, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Starkey and Lilly B. Mooney Starkey; his wife Mamie M. Myer; his daughter Carma D. Starkey; and his brother James W. Starkey.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda K. Dodd (Harold) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Connie L. Thorne (Kenny) of Benton, MO, Diana G. Horn (Tom) of Whitewater, MO., Michael L. Starkey of Jackson, MO and Mark S. "Steve" Starkey (Joan) of Whitewater, MO; and his sisters, Shirley I. Nabe of Jackson, MO and Hazel A. Blank of Cape Girardeau, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 step- grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
