He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Spencer and Marie Carrie Sapienza McCart; his wife Betty McCart; his daughter Tresa McCart; his brother Jimmy McCart; his siblings-in-law, Larry Volkerding, Paula McCart and Mary Lou Williams Ramsey; his son-in-law Jimmy Beussink; and his friends, Bill Frayser and Jerry Ainsworth.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Beussink of Cape Girardeau, Lesa Renee Conway (Tim) of Cape Girardeau and Christina Kaye Cotton (Kane) of Monument, Colorado; his stepdaughter Niki Johnson; his siblings, Marilyn Poston (Jim) of Cape Girardeau, Cheryl Lawrence (Jim) of Cape Girardeau, Jerry McCart of Sapulpa and Robert McCart (Kris) of Parkville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Danielle Beussink, Sophia Cotton and Jaden Cotton; his stepgrandchild Reese Marie Johnson of Jackson; his great grandchild Lyla; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Ann Noce Roth, Terri Sue Noce of Jackson, George Earl Williams of Jackson, Edward Louis Williams (Vickie) of Scott City, Donald Francis Williams of Mooreland and Randy C. Noce (Rochelle) of Oak Ridge; and his friends, Manuel Goode Jr. and Stan Dillingham.
