He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Freda Dick Whiteside; and his brother David Whiteside. He is survived by: his son Tyson Whiteside of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his fiancée Dawn Gribler of Cape Girardeau; his fiancée's children, Allison, Austin and Arron; and his uncle Jack Whiteside (Barbara) of Charleston, Missouri..
