He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Phegley and Ruby Phegley; his son Mark Phegley; his brother Dale Phegley; and his son-in-law Rulen Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Phegley Cape Girardeau; his children, Dennis Phegley (Jill), Scott Phegley, Deborah Knox and Dana Westrich Jackson (Michael); his siblings, Marle Phegley (Marlene), Karnel Phegley Baldwin (Elizabeth), Betty Doiron Prairie (David) and Linda Hern Waterloo (George); his grandchildren, Tabitha Reece (Dan), Kevin Phegley (Sarah), Brandon Bridwell (Young Kim), Brandy Schaefer (Chris), Troy Phegley, Molly Phegley, Auggie Phegley, Nick Westrich and PaytonWestrich; and his great grandchildren, Trevor of Allie, R. J., Kyle, Paige, Shelby, Beau and Many. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Memorials contributions can be made in Darrell's memory to American Cancer Society and memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud.
