David Garrett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Garrett (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Levi and Mary Garrett; his siblings, James Garrett, Levi Garrett, Charles Garrett, Morris Garrett and Lucille Howard; and his daughter Davida Coleman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffany Rich of Minooka, Jaquita Hurst (Erik) of Denver and Christina Taylor of Hazel Crest, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Tayawiyyaha, Imarae, Ahmon, Ahmiere, Jasper, Demarion, Samarraye, Anthony and Arieonna (Brien); and his siblings, John Garrett of Cape Girardeau, Ronald Garrett of Cairo, Joseph Garrett (Martha) of Mound City, Arnetta Williams of Cairo and Christine Box of Decatur. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends, two special friends.
