We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2022, at the age of 95, Dorothy Bertrand of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Huettig and Frieda Klaus Huettig; her husband Harry F. Bertrand; and her son Harry F. Bertrand. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bage of Ballwin, Missouri and Michael Bertrand (Kim) of Marion, Montana; her daughter-in-law Cherri Bertrand of Jackson, Missouri; her grandchildren, Emily Wade (Jon) of Jackson, MO, Andrew Bertrand (Bly) of Jackson Missouri, Jonathan Bage (Liisa) of Helsinki, Finland, Brian Bage (Shannon) of Wildwood and David Bage (Stephanie) of Apex; her great grandchildren, Ayla, Autumn Bage, Peyton Bage, Linnea Bage, Kevin, Ben, Dominic Wade, Graham and Jagger Bertrand; her nephew Richard Meyer (Lynnore); her brother Wilbert Huettig; her sister-in-law Delma Huettig; her sister Ruby Meyer; her brother-in-law Martin Meyer; her nieces, Marilyn Huettig Mirly and Shirley Ann Roth; and her son-in-law Mark Bage. She is also survived by friends, neighbors and health care workers.
Active in the Cape County American Cancer Society for twenty-five years including serving as secretary and chairman of the Area Cancer Prevention Study.
