She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis F. Smith and Elsie L. Barber Smith; her husband Earl; and her siblings, Frances Johnson and Charles Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Statler-Ferguson (Ken) of Floral City, Florida, David Statler (Kathy) of Greenwood, Indiana, Martha L. Plassmeyer (Denis) of St. Elizabeth, Missouri, Mary Ann Statler Wintermantel (William) of Salinas, California and Timothy Statler of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
