It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward G. Spalding of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Spalding and Erna Sander Spalding; his wife Patricia Spalding (Peggy); and his sisters, Ruby Leach, Nora Lee Seabaugh, Shirley Estes Ates and Carolyn Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Edward G. Spalding, Jr. (Kathleen), Jean Ann Trickey (Jack) and Steven G. Spalding (Darlene); his grandchildren, Patricia Rea Miller (Derek), Jack Trickey III, Marissa Spalding, Jared Spalding, Enola Spalding and Edward G. Spalding, III; and his sisters, Kay Maevers (Butch) and Phyllis Maevers (Gene).
Due to COVID-19, private family services and burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church.
