Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Fern Schlimme of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Jackson, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 98, on January 20, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Schweer and Mollie McBryde Schweer; her son Larry Wayne Schlimme; her siblings, George, Gary Schweer, Olga Reitzel, Bernice Bogenpohl and Helen Schweer; and her grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Schlimme.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Louis Schlimme (Sarah) of Columbia, Missouri and Judith D. Bradley of Cape Girardeau; her sister Betty Baxter of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her daughter-in-law Haroletta Green Schlimme of Whitewater, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Alexander Bradley, Abraham Bradley, David Schlimme, Mark Schlimme, Angie Schlimme Lema and Beth Schlimme Dubé. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Christ Evangelical Church or Cape Girardeau Senior Center.
