It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Franklin Delano James of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank and Esther Anita Siemers James; his brothers, Robert and Joe James; and his sister-in-law Mary Rose James.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda of Cape Girardeau; his children, Darryl James of Cape Girardeau, Karen Rosenburg (David) of Rolla and Roger James of Cape Girardeau; his brothers, John James (Georgia) of Cape Girardeau, Don James (Julie) of Cape Girardeau and Earl James of Cape Girardeau; his sister-in-law Marie James; his grandchildren, Brandon Rosenburg (Josie) and Kaylie Rosenburg; and his great grandchild Loretta Rosenburg. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Missouri Veterans Home, 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 or charity of choice.
