With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Ray Wendel of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob T. Wendel and Edith "Allegra" Daume Wendel; his son Brandon Wendel; his sister Ruth; and his brother-in-law Roger Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Emilie Wendel; his grandson Aidin Wendel; and his siblings, David Wendel (Janet) of Jackson and Jane Malone (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to American Diabetes or Alzheimer's Association.
