He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Emma Carroll (Sharp); his parents, Bynum Carroll and Nellie Carroll; and his siblings, Jess Carroll, Eugene Carroll, Harold Carroll, Joe Carroll and Pauline Phillips.

He is survived by: his daughter Marianne; his son-in-law Don Breeds; his grandson Joshua Wayne Breeds; and his brother Rocky Carroll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
