He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Ann Aldridge of Wolf Lake, Illinois.; his spouse Farris Bishop Newberry; his sons, Dr. Jonathan Johnson of Herrin, Joseph Johnson of Cape Girardeau and Jason Johnson (Mary) of Chatham, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Alexander Johnson (Kelsey) of Owensboro, Kentucky and Marissa Johnson of Chatham, Illinois..
