He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens F. Menz and Loretta A. Westrich Menz; and his brother Larry Menz. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Catherine Essner; his children, Cheryl Johnson (Doug) of New Hamburg, Karen Harper (David) of New Hamburg and Doug Menz (Ann) of New Hamburg; his brother Richard Menz (Judy) of Sikeston; his grandchildren, Allison Fodge (Chad), Kristin Harper Tyra, Brett Harper (Rachel) and Grant Menz; and his great grandchildren, Harper Tyra, Sophie Fodge, Reagan Tyra, Easton Fodge and Owen Harper.
In lieu of flowers, the Menz family request that all memorials be made to St. Jude's, and Jesus in Disguise Food Pantry.
