He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Buxton and Janie Ve Buxton; his wife Maxine Davis of Jackson; and his brother Forest "Barney" Buxton. He is survived by: his sons, Kirk Buxton (Mary) of Cape Girardeau and Richard "Dick" Buxton (Teresa) of McKinney, Texas; his grandchildren, Sarah Cross (Jeremy) of Allen, Andrew Buxton (Jessica) of Austin and Dr. Kent Buxton of St. Louis, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Lennon Cross and Margo Buxton.
