It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold W. Illers of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Illers and Mabel Rice Illers; and his siblings, Don Illers and Aleene Sander. He is survived by: his children, Greg Illers (Linda) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Lisa Kerr (Tim) of Jackson, Missouri; his sister Doris Hardy Eltzroth; his grandchildren, Cliff Illers, Kacie Kirk (John), Clay Illers (Kaci), Taylor Ly (Josh), Tucker Thrower (Aleisha), Claire Moll (Luke) and Cianna Kerr; and his great grandchildren, Kaylin Stroud, Weston Stroud, Mila Kirk, Jaida Ly, Scout Ly and Kason Illers.
Memorial contributions may be given to Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
