He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Jefferson and Helen Goll Hutson (Farrar); and his brother Charles Hutson. He is survived by: his wife Melody; and his sister Helen Hammond of Cape Girardeau. He is also survived by four children and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Cape Christian Community School or Southeast Missouri State University Music Academy.
